History
Built in the early 20th century by a Cantonese Taoist named Liu Ming, the temple served as a spiritual hub for the Chinese community in Saigon. It was later recognized as a national heritage site in 1994 for its cultural and religious significance.
Architecture
The temple features southern Chinese design with tiled roofs, open courtyards, and richly carved wooden interiors. Ceramic figurines, dim lighting, and incense-filled halls create a sacred, atmospheric space for worship.
